This student project for Trek Bikes focused on designing a bike light attachment for night commuters. Through research on visibility challenges and safety concerns in low-light conditions, the Trek Beam Pro was developed. The light features four customizable modes, offering up to 180° of illumination and adjustable brightness levels. Designed for road and trail bikes, the attachment enhances rider safety with features like motion sensors, a rubber back for bike frame protection, and a removable charging bank for convenience. The result is a versatile and user-friendly solution for night riders.
